Product Details
This coating can be used in the disk drive, MEMS, LCD and printed circuit
board industries to provide anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration and anti-
corrosion properties. It is a replacement for Fluorad™ coating FC-722, FC-
724, FC-725 and FC-732.
When applied to clean, moisture-free surfaces such as copper, aluminum,
ceramic, steel, tin or glass, Novec coating EGC-1700 dries to a thin
transparent film with excellent anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration and
anti-corrosion properties. This makes it useful as a coating for a variety of
applications, including:

anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration and anti-corrosion properties.
Novec electronic coating EGC-1704 imparts anti-wetting, anti-stiction, anti-migration
and anti-corrosion properties to sensitive electronic components. When spray-applied
or dip-coated to clean, moisture-free surfaces such as copper, aluminum, ceramic,
steel, tin or glass, Novec coating EGC-1704 dries to form an ultra-thin transparent film
(~0.2 micron) that repels liquids such as lubricating oils, hydrocarbon oils and silicones.

Novec fluid 71DA is a true azeotrope, with constant vapor and liquid
composition at its boiling point. It is intended to replace ozone-
depleting materials in many applications as well as certain aqueous
cleaning processes.

Used to replace CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs and flammable
solvents in fingerprint formulations for ninhydrin or DFO,
7100 works in the formula to provide optimally crisp ridge
detail. 7100s high wetting index assures maximum
penetration and delivery of the ninhydrin or DFO to
deposited amino acids, thus finding and developing more
prints than other formulations. And 7100 is compatible with

Its boiling point (61°C) and increased solvency make

7100 can be used "neat" or in combination with other
solvents. The product is compatible with most metals,

Performance Fluid PF-5060DL. In addition, Novec fluid
7100 has a short atmospheric lifetime and low global

A wide liquid range (-135°C to 61°C) makes Novec fluid
7100 well-suited to thermal management applications in a
