TURCO ZINCTONE is a clear, red liquid formulated to remove
light oxide films and brighten zinc and zinc alloy parts, such as
carburettors fuel pumps and die-cast by immersion methods.
The product dramatically brightens brass and copper alloys.
TURCO ZINCTONE restores the original lustre to zinc alloys, and
is frequently used on zinc components that require visible and
fluorescent penetrant inspection prior to re-assembly and for
penetrant inspection of raw zinc die castings prior to machining.
TURCO WO2 is a phosphoric acid based compound formulated to
remove rust, oxides and mill scale from ferrous and non-ferrous
surfaces. The product is a mild phosphatising agent and provides
an ideal base for paint adhesion on aluminium and steel surfaces.
The inhibitor system used in TURCO WO2 allows the product to
dramatically remove rust and scale without serious attack upon
sound base metal.
TURCO WO1 is a clear colourless liquid acid cleaner and
deoxidiser designed tor use on aluminium and aluminium alloys
by dip spray and hand wipe methods.
TURCO 4460 is a water-white liquid formulated to replace methyl
ethyl ketone and similar type solvents that are environmentally
unacceptable due to their high composite vapour pressures.
TURCO 4460 is ideal for hand-wipe cleaning of metal surfaces
prior to painting, bonding and for cleaning bearings, instruments
and electronic components.
Thermoil Granodine 112 (or Parco Lubrite 5) can be run at a lower
temperature range if Accelerator 131 is used in the bath operation.
Thermoil Granodine 112 is formulated to produce non-metallic, oil-
absorptive coatings on iron and steel bearing surfaces. These
corrosion-resistant coatings consist chiefly of iron and manganese
phosphates, and reduce wear on such articles as pistons, rings,
liners, camshafts, tappets, motor blocks and similar bearing
surfaces.
Parkerizing 200 chemicals are formulated for the conversion of iron
and steel surfaces to nonmetallic, zinc phosphate coatings which
are highly resistant to corrosion. The coatings have good adhesion,
are of an absorptive nature, and provide substantial protection from
rust by bonding the final finish of stain, oil, wax, or paint to the
articles treated. The Parkerizing treatment produces a uniform
coating on all surfaces which the solution can reach, and is
especially suitable for rust-proofing threaded pieces and articles
with small holes or recesses.
Parcolene 99 post treatment chemical is a patented, chromium
free post treatment especially formulated for use over conversion
coatings. The post treatment is free of volatile organic components
and increases the corrosion resistance of painted metal surfaces.
Parcolene 99 is a reactive, resin based post treatment chemical,
containing no heavy metals. Its corrosion resistance performance
is equal to that of chromium containing post treatments. The
treatment solution may be applied by spray application or by
immersion application under ambient conditions and is followed by
a deionised water rinse.
PARCOLENE 80A post treatment chemical is especially formulated
for use over iron phosphate and zinc phosphate conversion
coatings. The post treatment increases the corrosion resistance of
painted metal surfaces.
PARCOLENE 80A chemical is an environmentally acceptable post
treatment chemical whose corrosion resistance performance is
equal to that of chromium containing post treatments. The
treatment solution may be applied by spray application or by
immersion application and should be followed by a deionised water
rinse.
P3-Suncorite Aqua 100RFU Black is a water based coating of
exceptional corrosion protection. When applied at 50-70
microns over zinc phosphate pretreated metal or over shot
blasted steel substrates, corrosion protection in excess of 1000
hours ASTM B117 will be achieved.
Novaphos F 330L is a combined spray or immersion detergent and
iron phosphating product for use on mild steel, unpassivated zinc
coated steel and aluminium prior to painting.
Novaphos F 75 is an iron phosphatiser for soak, steam and spray
applications for mild steel, zinc and aluminium. It is formulated for
use at 60-65°C.
No. 443 is a unique blend of chemicals to be added to a sodium
hydroxide solution to produce an etch for aluminium that allows
continued operation without the need for dumping.
GRANODINE 606 is a low temperature process which
simultaneously degreases and produces a lightweight phosphate
coating on steel, aluminium and zinc surfaces. It is applied in a
conveyorised two, three or four stage washing plant.
Granodine 20 is a concentrated liquid chemical, which when diluted
with water, forms adherent zinc phosphate coatings on steel and
zinc surfaces immersed in the bath.
The coatings produced are very fine, tight and hard, giving
excellent adhesion; humidity and corrosion resistance to
subsequent paint coatings.
D-OX 560 is a non-chromated liquid desmutter and deoxidiser
especially recommended for use in areas where chromated
materials cannot be used because of sewage disposal limitations.
D-OX 560 gives rapid desmutting and deoxidising on all wrought
and extruded aluminium alloys.
Deoxidine 624
DEOXIDINE * 624 is a phosphoric acid and solvent type metal
cleaner and conditioner designed for manual application, which
removes rust, destroys rusting agents and leaves the metal surface
chemically clean and ready for painting.
COLORMAX 9000L is a new generation electrolytic colour bath,
liquid concentrate. COLORMAX 9000L, with its unique and high
quality ingredients, provides excellent throwing power and optimum
colour uniformity. COLORMAX 9000L provides rich, deep colors, in
shorter time than normally obtained from conventional coloring
baths. COLORMAX 9000L is designed to be used with stainless
steel or graphite counter electrode systems. Aluminum is first
anodized in a controlled sulphuric acid electrolyte, under proper
conditions. Consequently the anodized aluminum is treated in a
COLORMAX 9000L bath using an AC power source to achieve a
wide spectrum of colours ranging from champagne to black in
minimum coloring time.
Carbolene is a two-phase solvent product. The lower active phase
contains a powerful solvent activated with special additives to
promote rapid removal of carbon deposits and paint films. The
upper aqueous phase contains corrosion inhibitors and also
prevents evaporation and loss of efficiency of the solvent phase.
BONDERITE NT-1 is a regulated heavy metal and, phosphate-free
reactive conversation coating especially formulated for use in the
treatment of steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces. The pre-treatment
is free of all organic components and increases the corrosion
resistance of painted surfaces.
In most cases, its corrosion resistance performance will be equal to
an iron phosphate/polymer seal. The pre-treatment solution may
be applied by spray or immersion applications under ambient
conditions and is followed by a deionized or reverse osmosis water
rinse. The BONDERITE NT-1 pre-treatment is compatible with all
types of paint applications.
Bonderite 1070F is formulated for spray and immersion
application to steel, aluminium and zinc surfaces to
simultaneously clean and develop a conversion coating. The
process produces a uniform non-metallic phosphate coating
which inhibits corrosion and increases the adhesion and durability
of paint finishes.

The Bonderite 492XR process is designed for the treatment of iron
and steel and is particularly intended for use as a prepaint
application. It may be applied by immersion or spray. Zinc
coated steels may be processed in mixed production along with
steel.
ANOBRITE 139 is a liquid aluminium brightener. It consists of a
blend of mineral acids and other minor ingredients, the proportions
of which have been optimised so that ANOBRITE 139 can be used
on a wide variety of aluminium alloys (except high silicon content
die-casting alloys), to obtain very satisfactory results.
ANOBRITE 139 has excellent brightening and smoothing
properties. It can be used on super-purity and commercial
aluminium which has not been mechanically polished. It removes
heavy scratches and other imperfections from the metal.
Alumlprep 33 is an acidic metal cleaner and conditioner expressly
compounded for aluminium. Prepares aluminium and its alloys for
painting or welding. Alumlprep 33 removes light deposits of oil and
grease, mill markings and corrosion products, as well as natural
oxide.
Neutralises corrosion inducing materials such as welding or brazing
fluxes and perspiration residues.
Effectively removes corrosion products or stains, resulting from
weathering, leaves the aluminium surface receptive for additional
protection afforded by Alodine 1OOOL or 1200L or clear lacquers
or waxes. Maximum protection of aluminium is afforded through the
use of Alumlprep 33 (to clean and brighten), treatment with Alodlne
No.1000L or 1200L (for corrosion resistance) and the application of
clear lacquer or wax.
ALODINE 5992 is a product, trivalent chromium based, capable of
producing a trivalent chrome conversion layer on aluminium and its
alloys. According to the application and to the treated materials, the
colour of the conversion layer changes from colourless to light
green.
The conversion layer is designed to improve paint adhesion and to
increase anticorrosive protection. In the case of bare metal
finishing it provides high corrosion protection and a low electrical
contact resistance.
Alodine 5200 treatment is a chromium free product and
specifically formulated for treating aluminium and its alloys. Spray
or immersion application may be used. The process provides an
excellent base for organic finishes.
ALODINE 1200S is a powder chemical, used for producing paint
bonding, corrosion resisting coatings on aluminium and its alloys by
either spray or dip processing.
Alodine• 1OOOL & 1200L are liquid chemicals, designed to
produce protective and paint bonding coatings on aluminium and
aluminium alloys.
Alodine 1OOOL produces colourless coatings and is used for sign
writing or the application of clear finishes. For other applications,
Alodine 1200L, which produces golden to tan coatings, should be
used. Alodine 1OOOL & 1200L are made specifically for manual
application. Other versions of Alodine 1200 are available for
application by immersion or recirculation spray.
These coatings conform to U.S.A. Military Specification MIL-C-
5541E. The Alodine 1000L & 1200L coatings are electrically
conductive. Fresh coatings (obtained from two minutes contact with
deoxidised surfaces) usually have a resistance of 170 micro-ohms
(i.e. a conductivity of 6,000 siemens) and this increases with age.
Touch-N-Prep Alodine 1132 no-rinse conversion coating effectively
phosphates most metals including aluminum, ferrous and
galvanized substrates. Doesnt require rinsing, and can be air dried
or force dried with hot air or an infra-red lamp. High density acrylic
tip of the Touch-N-Prep applicator can be modified with a single
edge razor blade to form any shape. The application method
controls the amount of coating applied to the surface.
ALODINE 1000L is a liquid chemical, used for producing paint-
bonding, corrosion-resisting coatings on aluminium and its alloys,
by either manual application, spray or dip processing.
Alodine 600 is a powdered chemical used in an aqueous solution to
produce on aluminium or aluminium alloys a protective coating
which ranges in colour from light, iridescent golden to tan. The
coating produced provides excellent protection for unpainted
aluminium and bonds paint well. It is particularly recommended
where a low dielectric resistance coating is desired. Alodine 600,
being listed on the Qualified Product List QPL-81706, is an
approved material to be used by Method B (brush processing) to
produce Class 3 coatings, bare or painted, in accordance with
Military Specification MIL-C-5541E.
It is applied using an acid-resistant brush, a swab, a synthetic
sponge, or portable spray equipment, e.g., a paint spray gun or
insect sprayer. The brush method of application is used when:
1. The number of pieces processed per day is not large, or
2. The parts to be treated are too large to be immersed
conveniently in a tank, or
3. Touching up abraded or damaged areas on work which had been
previously coated with Alodine.
Lanolin based fatty soap emulsion with extreme pressure additives,
specifically designed to be compatible with subsequent
electrophoretic paint systems.
Easydraw 2166 is a highly chlorinated heavy duty drawing lubricant
with emulsifiers and corrosion inhibitors.
TURCO WHITE SOLV EC is a clear colourless chlorinated
hydrocarbon solvent cleaner with low viscosity and low surface
tension.
TURCO WHITE SOLV EC is ideal for white room cleaning and
cleaning of relay contacts, electrical equipment, assembled
electronic units and precision components.
Grit Master Blue is an industrial strength hand cleaner capable of
quickly removing common occupational soils encountered in
automotive and industrial workplaces. The formulation includes
specially selected scrubbing agents to speed soil removal without
being aggressive to skin. Grit Master Blue is formulated to remove
common grease and oil stains from skin and leave the skin feeling
clean and smooth.
TURCO TURCOSOLV is a clear, colourless solvent-based cleaner
formulated to replace carbon tetrachloride and other hazardous
solvents used for cleaning electrical equipment.
TURCO TURCOSOLV evaporates completely without leaving
residues that can attract carbon dust, metallic particles or other
contaminants that may damage electric equipment.
TURCO S.S.2 is a blend of petroleum hydrocarbons so formulated
to meet the basic requirements US Military specification MIL-PRF-
680 Type II (Military Symbol S02). It has a narrow boiling range, is
low in aromatics and has a flash point of 63
o
C.
TURCO METAL GLO #6 is a viscous liquid material used for the
removal of oxides and corrosion from aircraft and aluminium
surfaces. TURCO METAL GLO #6 removes corrosion residues,
oxides, light carbon and other light soils. It is non-streaking and
non-corrosive to aluminium surfaces, when used according to
directions
TURCO 9203 is a clear, amber liquid developed for the removal of
'Black Jack'. It will also remove grease, lube oil, road dirt and shop
soils from engines, engine parts, frames, wheels, sheet metal,
storage tanks, railroad equipment, automotive equipment and
plant machinery by spray, immersion and spray washing methods.
TURCO 5948 DPM THICK is a viscous alkaline, water base, blue,
concentrated compound formulated to effectively cling to painted
and unpainted aircraft exterior and interior surfaces.
TURCO 5948 DPM THICK is ideally suited for use in all jets,
especially in baggage bins, flap and wheel areas, and on engines
before overhaul.
TURCO 5948 DPM is an alkaline, water base, blue concentrated
compound formulated to effectively clean painted and unpainted
aircraft exterior and interior surfaces when diluted with water.
TURCO 5948 DPM is ideally suited for use on all models of jet
aircraft.
TURCO 5948 DPM is also designed to be used in immersion tanks,
for dip applications.
TURCO 5948 A is an alkaline, water-base, concentrated compound
formulated to effectively clean painted and unpainted aircraft
exterior surfaces when diluted with water or solvents. Effectively
removes dirt, petroleum and synthetic oil film, grease from aircraft
surfaces, landing gear, wheel wells, flaps, etc.
TURCO 5884 is a concentrated liquid cleaner which is effective in
the removal of oil, salt and solid deposits from compressor blades,
guide vanes and rotors of in-service jet engines. Periodic cleaning
of these components is necessary to avoid power loss, abnormal
temperature increases and increased fuel consumption.
The TURCO 6783 SERIES are water based cleaners, which
effectively remove oil, salt and solid deposits from compressor
blades, guide vanes and rotors of in-service turbine engines.

Transwash HD is excellent for wiping down or spraying machinery
and heavy equipment. It readily removes heavy oils, greases,
carbonaceous soils and is ideal for general purpose industrial
maintenance cleaning operations.
Topax 615 is a highly active chlorinated alkaline liquid designed for
use as a foaming cleaner to remove a wide range of soils
encountered in the food industry. Topax ® 615 is suitable for use in
hard water conditions.
Synergic CA detergent additive is a formulated blend of non-ionic
and anionic surface active agents. When added to alkaline or
neutral cleaning solutions, Synergic CA greatly enhances the
cleaning performance and life of the cleaner.
TURCO SPRAYEZE R is an off-white powder formulated to
remove drawing lubes, lube oil, marking inks and shop soils from
ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
TURCO SPRAYEZE R is ideal for cleaning parts prior to
phosphating since it helps eliminate alkaline carry-over and does
not contain free caustic. Special additives are incorporated in
TURCO SPRAYEZE R that suppress dusting and hard caking
tendencies, thus insuring TURCO SPRAYEZE R remains free
flowing under most severe conditions.
TURCO SPRAYEZE is a high performance medium alkaline spray
washing compound formulated to remove heavy contaminations of
oil, grease, drawing lubricants and general soils from auto parts
and metal components during manufacture.
TURCO SPRAYEZE is widely used by auto engine reconditioners
and transmission repair specialists as a hot spray washing
compound. A major plus for this product is that when used as
directed parts do not flash rust after use.
S.D.C. is a non-flammable, non explosive combination of solvents
and surfactants. Mixed with power kerosene distillate or mineral
turpentine, it forms a neutral and highly efficient de-greasing
solution for cleaning metal and other surfaces. It is harmless to all
metals, good quality paintwork, plastics and textiles. Cold tank
cleaning with S.D.C. is fast and convenient - there is no waiting for
solution to be heated. It is safe and effective for spray or brush
application for cleaning oil and grease from machinery·engines and
other equipment.
Blend of alcohol, amines and glycol ethers exhibiting powerful
solvent action combined with an intermediate evaporation rate, for
the flushing of water based automotive paint lines and spray guns.
Ridoline 425 is a liquid, acidic heavy duty immersion cleaner for
aluminium substrates. The cleaning bath made from Ridoline 425
is slightly etching and free rinsing. It effectively removes drawing
lubricants and compounds and tends to maintain the original bright
surface.
TURCO PLAUDIT is a non-hazardous water based compound
formulated as a safe general purpose cleaner for use on all
surfaces. The product removes shop soils, oils, greases, road grime
and lube oils from transportation, construction and drilling
equipment, concrete floors, metal components, engine rooms and
bilges.
PARCOLENE Z is especially formulated to prepare iron, steel,
aluminium, zinc and zinc-alloy surfaces for subsequent crystalline
phosphate coating applications.
Parco Cleaner 3326G is designed to prepare ferrous articles to
receive uniform, phosphate coatings. Applied by spray, this
medium to heavy duty alkaline material is usually recommended for
difficult cleaning jobs, particularly C.K.D. panels with aged
protective oils and waxes.
Parco Cleaner 2510 is an inhibited acid supplied in liquid form. It is
used by immersion for the removal of rust and scale from ferrous
articles. It is particularly advantageous in removing scale-like
deposits from pipes, nozzles and heating coils in Bonderite spray
systems with a minimum of labour.
Parco Cleaner 1523 is a multi package, low temperature, liquid
cleaner formulated to prepare ferrous, zinc and aluminium surfaces
to receive uniform, dense, crystalline conversion coatings. The
medium to heavy-duty cleaning solution is designed specifically for
use in the automotive industry. The treatment solution may be
applied by spray or immersion and is very effective in removing
metal working fluids and soils.
Parco Cleaner 305 is a liquid alkaline cleaner designed to prepare
steel surfaces to receive uniform and dense phosphate coatings.
Applied by spray, the heavy duty alkaline treatment with excellent
rinsing characteristics will etch galvanised and aluminium surfaces.
When non-etching cleaning of galvanised and aluminium is
needed, other cleaners should be used.
PARCO ANTIFOAM is a liquid defoaming agent, formulated for use
in Parco Cleaner, Novaclean, Ridoline cleaner, or Bonderite,
Duridine, Novaphos clean and phosphate pretreatment baths.
Parco Antifoam effectively reduces the level of foam on the surface
of freshly made-up baths or of baths operating at temperatures
lower than their optimum.
Parco Antifoam suppresses the foaming tendencies for longer
periods than does kerosene or other solvents and does not
decrease the effective detergent levels in the bath.
Novox LF
Novox LF is a specially formulated acid etch cleaner for
aluminium in soak application. It simultaneously cleans and lightly
etches aluminium.
Novaclean 4009
Novaclean 4009 is a high alkalinity liquid metal cleaner containing
a high level of low foaming surfactants.
Novaclean 4009 is suitable for spray and immersion cleaning of
ferrous metals prior to phosphating, and also for cleaning and
activating galvanised steel and aluminium prior to phosphating or
chromate conversion.
FOAM BLANKET 605 is a specially formulated product to control
fumes in caustic etching and acidic anodising tanks. When using as
recommended, it forms a thick layer of foam which suppresses
fumes.
TURCO DEFLOCCULATOR 2 is a powder compound formulated to
degenerate accumulated paint residues in water-curtain spray booth
systems.
979 Dry-To-Touch-Oil is a specially formulated self emulsifying oil
used in water to produce a milky emulsion for the treatment of
phosphate coatings. The resultant coating provides a dry-to-touch
corrosion resistant film.
P3-Maxan SS is a powerful immersion paint stripper designed for
the economical removal of polyester and hybrid powder coatings. It
is alkali activated and contains no Methylene Chloride, cresols or
phenols.
Novastrip S1 Additive
Novastrip is a liquid blend of caustic alkali and organic solvents. It
contains no phenols, cresols or organic acids. It is much safer to
use than similar products containing phenols. It is supplied in 2
parts: Novastrip S1 and Novastrip Additive.
Henkel Technologies supplies a number of chromium containing
compounds for various metal treatment procedures. From time-to-
time, solutions or rinses containing these compounds may require
dumping. Stringent pollution control regulations in many areas
prohibit the disposal of hexavalent chromium compounds into
sewage systems. This bulletin presents a simple and economical

Deoxylyte 54NC is an acidic, inorganic, liquid post treatment
chemical used in immersion and spray final rinses to improve
paint adhesion and to minimise underfilm corrosion and blistering.

the phosphated surface of metals in the best condition for painting.

PARCO ADDITIVE 2866 is a liquid additive which accelerates the
performance of hot caustic paint strippers. This is particularly
valuable where stripping of racks, etc., is done on-line and available
time is short. PARCO ADDITIVE 2866 is formulated to assist the
caustic stripper in breaking the various linkages which hold the
paint film together, resulting in the complete breakdown of the dried
paint and its removal from the substrate. PARCO ADDITIVE 2866 is
ideally used with Liquid Hotstrip alkaline paint stripper.
Hotstrip is a heavy duty caustic paint stripper and rust remover.
Hotstrip is formulated to remove paint from steel and other caustic
resistant surfaces. Hotstrip is formulated to break the various
linkages which hold the paint film together, resulting in the complete
breakdown of the dried paint and its removal from the substrate. In
rust removal applications, it is used at boiling point. Time will
depend on degree of rusting.
TURCO DESEALZIT 1 is a heavy duty viscous paint stripping
compound formulated primarily for the removal of rubberised paints
or sealants and vinyl tile adhesive residues.

TURCO 6840S is a viscous, light purple liquid formulated to
remove multiple coats of paints, such as baked enamels, lacquers,
varnish, synthetic enamels, Koroflex, polysulphide, zinc chromate
primers, epoxies and polyurethanes.
TURCO 6840S paint remover clings to vertical as well as over-
head surfaces and can be used on aluminium, magnesium,
cadmium-plated steels and other ferrous metals.
TURCO 3518 is a concentrate of the active solvent and corrosion
inhibitors used in TURCO TRANSPO. These critical components
are depleted by the working of Transpo solutions.
TURCO 5351 is a yellow, viscous paint remover developed to
remove epoxy, polyurethane and similar coatings from metal
surfaces at ambient temperatures.
TURCO 5351 clings to vertical and overhead surfaces and forms a
surface film that helps retard evaporation and extend the working
life of the stripper. TURCO 5351 should not be used on materials
that are affected by chlorinated hydrocarbons.
TURCO 5351 THIN is an amber, diphase liquid developed to
remove epoxy, polyurethane and other catalysed finishes from
ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. The product contains no free
acidic or alkaline constituents and is approved for use on
Aluminium, Magnesium and high strength steels.
TURCO 5351 THIN should not be used on materials that are
affected by chlorinated hydrocarbons.
TURCO 5668 is a diphase, liquid paint remover developed without
phenols, chromate and chlorinated solvents or acids to remove
resistant coatings, such as polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and
chromated primers.
TURCO 5668 is ideal for the removal of PRC-1560MC and PRC-
1560M coatings and is not detrimental to aircraft metals, such as
aluminium, titanium, magnesium, cadmium, conversion coatings,
Dow coatings and ferrous alloys.
TURCO 5668 is supplied with a built-in non-aqueous chemical seal
which retards evaporation and helps minimise drag out losses.
TURCO 6776 L.O. is a thixotropic, light green liquid remover
developed for stripping resistant finishes such as epoxies, epoxy
primers, polyurethanes, alkyds and similar catalysed paints.
TURCO 6776 L.O. paint remover offers a significant advance in
improving work place safety since it does not generate obnoxious
fumes or odours and is free from methylene chloride, chlorinated
solvents, phenols, chromates, ammonia and amines.
The product can be used on aluminium, mild steel, cast iron, and
titanium when used as directed.
TURCO 6776 L.O. is not recommended for use on high strength
steel and magnesium. TURCO 6776 L.O. meets the "effects on
metals" requirements of MIL-R-81903 A.
